One thing you need to remember as a mom-to-be is that you won’t stay pregnant forever (duh!). I feel weird saying it but I actually do
miss the bump. It came with a lot of perks which I now miss dearly. I genuinely enjoyed not having to stand in long queues, not having
to drive myself or tie my own shoelaces. Cooking was a choice, not a chore anymore. I was spoilt rotten. Now those privileges are
gone (sigh).
I also miss the interaction with my baby from within. It was personal. Sacred. Uncomfortable sometimes, especially when her feet
discovered what felt like my bladder and ribs (Yikes!) but it was all worth it. Felt like having a super power of some sort. That super
power is taken away during birth. Small sacrifice for you to enjoy seeing your little angel every day. I’m definitely obsessed with kissing
those tiny feet and hands.
Anyway, the point I am trying to make is that pregnancy flies by quickly and you need to capture as many moments as you possibly
can. One way to preserve the memory of your precious bump is by booking a professional maternity photo shoot. Here are some of
my favourite photos from my shoot (you’re welcome!).
